And guess what? There’s going to be a Walla Fest on January 7th! I think this is the 4th or 5th Walla so far and it will definitely be a fun time.
So come and check out all the creativity that Norristown has to offer!
Back in Norristown, I (and many other students) had to carry the infamous Norristown reputation on our shoulders and it was heavy. People would stereotype me because of the school I went to. I’m sure most of you have felt this. But at college no one knows about your high school (out here in Chicago, no one could even place Norristown on a map) and that reputation is lifted off your shoulders. So my advice to you all is to leave. Get out of Norristown, go to college, experience the world, be amazing. And when you’re ready, come back and inspire others.
If we can survive four years at Norristown, we’re ready for anything. — Andrea Stickley in her Salutatorian speech
Share your future plans and encourage younger students to work hard to achieve their dreams too. Let’s celebrate our accomplishments!
